Soft Sesame Breadsticks
I've been making these tasty breadsticks that go with almost any meal for years. Since they use ingredients like flour, sugar, baking powder and milk, it's convenient and inexpensive to mix up a batch. —Nancy Johnson, Connersville, Indiana

These turned out well; however, the measurements are all wrong. In no way could I get 12 sticks as the measurements given after rolling out were not achieveable. Only got 8 sticks. Any suggestions?
I love this recipe..It's simple, quick and super tasty. I brushed the bread sticks with garlic butter and Italian herbs. Simply delish??
Oops - I forgot to add the stars yesterday in my review. Wish I could add more!
There's not enough stars here. I cannot praise this woman enough for this recipe. Not only did it save my spaghetti supper, but it was actually REALLY GOOD! and easy for me to make. No yeast . Thank you thank you thank you. A A A Avengekitty
These breadsticks were definitely delicious, but I did find the dough a bit fussy to work with...especially at the point where you turn to coat in butter. Since the recipe is so tasty, and they are basically a biscuit like consistency, I think I'll use it again, but just cut them into biscuit instead of fumbling with the sticks of dough, and then brush the tops with butter and sprinkle the seeds.
Followed the recipe to the letter so I dont know why they did not turn out. The dough was very wet and hard to work with. I added milk a little at a time so I dont know. I couldnt really roll them out because it was too wet but finally got them in a some what breadstick shape. Honestly they tasted like biscuits nothing like breadsticks. They were good though and I will make biscuits with them again. 3 stars because while taste good it did not taste like a breadstick at all.
Love this recipe, easy and delicious...I doubled the recipe and by the end of dinner, only one was left...
My oven was giving me problems so I decided to fry them instead and they turned out great! They're SO good. I didn't put the sesame on them though. Instead I did garlic salt and parmesean cheese.
Just made this to go with spaghetti! I used garlic salt on them!!!! Delish!
Perfect solution for breadsticks during a snow day when I didn't have yeast! Everyone enjoyed them -used garlic rather than sesame seeds to accompany lasagna!
