Ingredients

1-1/3 cups mayonnaise
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup salsa verde
3 tablespoons canned chopped green chiles
3/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
2 jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
Hot cooked buffalo-style chicken wings
Celery sticks

Directions

Place the first 7 ingredients in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Chill until serving. Serve with chicken wings and, if desired, celery.

buttermilk

To substitute for each cup of buttermilk, use 1 Tbsp. white vinegar or lemon juice plus enough milk to measure 1 cup. Stir, then let stand 5 min. Or, use 1 cup plain yogurt or 1-3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar plus 1 cup milk.

Peppers (Hot)

Wear disposable gloves when cutting hot peppers; the oils can burn skin. Avoid touching your face.
