Grilled Cabbage
The first time I made this, I couldn’t believe how good it was! We served it with grilled burgers and our dinner was complete. I never thought I’d skip dessert because I was full from too much cabbage! —Elizabeth Wheeler, Thornville, Ohio

I have done this for years but instead of butter i wrap each cabbage wedge with bacon delicious!!
Made this last night, only change was I baked it in 450 oven for about 25-30 minutes in aluminum pan
I loved the ease of cooking this on the grill. Cabbage turned out very flavorful.
The butter, onion and spices went so perfectly with this cabbage. Something with that combination and grilling it almost gave the edges of the cabbage a caramelized taste. Very tasty side!
I make this on the stovetop by slicing up and browning kielbasa sausage then remove from the pan so you can Brown the onions in the sausage drippings. When the onions are soft and brown add the cabbage in with a little water so you can steam the cabbage (under a lid). Add the sausage back in on top then Salt
I love seeing recipes like this. We grill lots of veggies during the summer. Leafy greens are things most people don't grill but they are amazing on the grill.
Very good. Good flavor, easy to make. I used my oven (snowstorm outside)
This is a delicious five star recipe as written. I have also made this for years, but in the microwave. On a microwave safe dish, place cabbage wedges. Butter the cut sides, sprinkle with parmesan cheese, and top each wedge with 2 slices of uncooked bacon (make an "X"). Cover with microwave safe plastic wrap, and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, or until desired softness, and bacon is cooked. Salt and pepper to your preference. Enjoy!
We really liked this, I had some leftover fried rice which I heated up then I added the cabbage. It was delish.
I put crumbled well done bacon bits on top. Really adds to flavor.
