My husband said it was good soup, that’s a plus. I addd garlic seasoning, vegetable seasoning and more Italian seasoning.
This is a great soup that I make all the time. I like to start mine with a mirepoix base and fresh garlic.. I know this is supposed to be "quick", but since I use mirepoix (and holy trinity) in so many things, I always have a supply in my freezer (self-chopped or store bought). I also like using Italian sausage like the test kitchen suggests.
Wow, this was really easy to put together and delicious! I added extra meatballs and tortellini. I followed the recommendation and added garlic. Will definitely make again!
Talk about a crowd pleaser! So easy to put together and a delicious meal. My two young kiddos were excited for the meatballs and tortellini and I was pleased they ate the spinach. A keeper!
Made this recipe but substituted 1 can kidney beans and 1/2 can garbanzo beans in place of the Italian meatballs. I also substituted vegetable broth in place of the chicken broth. The soup was delicious!
Made this today it was fantastic...will double the recipe next time..

First time to make soup was tonight. We Loved it, with a few adds I will be making it again. It was ok cooking with the original seasonings but I wanted a bit more flavor. Added garlic powder, garlic
My grandson loved this soup and asked me for the recipe. Increased seasonings a bit and added extra meatballs. A keeper and will make again.
