Ingredients

  • 1 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup finely chopped peeled cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh mint
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons snipped fresh dill
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • PITAS:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 medium Golden Delicious apple, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 whole wheat pita pocket halves

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the first seven ingredients. Refrigerate until serving.
  2. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; crumble beef; drain. Add apple, raisins, curry powder and salt; cook until apple is tender, stirring occasionally. Serve in pita halves with sauce.
