Chicken Salad with Grapes Tips

Can you use different kinds of chicken to make chicken salad?

If you forget to grab a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store, feel free to cook a bird at home, then pick your favorite method for how to shred chicken, whether it's with a fork, stand mixer or your hands. You can also use canned chicken in a pinch.

What other toppings can you put on chicken salad with grapes?

Add more texture and flavor to your chicken salad by adding diced avocado, dried cranberries or even crumbled bacon.

How else can you serve chicken salad with grapes?

You can always serve chicken salad on a croissant, or tuck some into a halved pita or lettuce wrap instead. If you're out of bread, use Ritz crackers as salty, buttery vessels.

How long will chicken salad last?

When kept in an airtight container in the fridge, chicken salad with grapes will last for up to 3 days. If you serve it at a potluck or other gathering, make sure it doesn't sit out at room temperature for longer than 2 hours for food safety reasons.
