  • 2-1/2 cups Domino® or C&H® Pure Cane Granulated Sugar
  • 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  2. Divide dough in half. On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion to 1/8-in. thickness. Cut with a floured 2-in. cookie cutter. Place 1 in. apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 7-8 minutes or until set. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely. Decorate with frosting if desired.
