I was wondering if you could use blue cheese instead of cheddar cheese
Love the simplicity of them and can’t wait to try with other proteins and flavors.
This recipe is a good starting point for so many variations! Meats can be sausage, ground beef, chicken, pork or turkey, adjust to sauces/seasonings to compliment, vary the cheese, and tuck in veggies that your family loves. Try different sauces, too! Example: Italian version would have ground Italian sausage, browned with onion and peppers, provolone cheese add a dab of marinara and some Italian seasoning. Dip in your favorite tomato sauce! Possibilities are endless!

Used chunk canned chicken. Easy for teens to make. Makes a great lunch or for lunch boxes.
I couldn't find ground chicken so I chopped up pre-sliced chicken tenders, it was still very good! Great for a light supper or just an anytime snack.
I made these tonight and actually used the leftover baked buffalo chicken cut up from the October 2015 TOH issue https://stage.tasteofhome.com/recipes/baked-buffalo-chicken. I also added additional hot sauce to kick things up a notch. What a great way to use leftovers.
These little bites are packed with flavor!!! I used canned chicken to save on time.
