Can you use frozen avocado instead of fresh? You can certainly use frozen avocado instead of fresh, but just know that you will lose some of the creamy texture you get from fresh avocados. Alternatively, if you find yourself with a fresh avocado that is ripe, but you aren’t ready to use it, you can dice it and freeze it for future smoothies or dips.
What else can you put in an avocado smoothie? This avocado smoothie recipe is a great excuse to play around with different types of milk. If you aren’t a fan, or simply don’t have soy milk on hand, any kind of milk would work wonderfully in this recipe.
Can you make avocado smoothies ahead of time?If you have any leftovers or are just planning ahead, you can store your avocado smoothie in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to a day. This will keep oxidation at bay and help prevent the avocado from turning brown.
