McDonald’s Is Bringing Back a Bunch of ’90s Happy Meal Toys

It's 1993 again at McDonald's.

Lately, we’ve all been busy asking about the return of the elusive McRib—or wondering if that Stroopwafel McFlurry is still available. But it’s OK to long for the simpler times of Happy Meals. Every kid’s favorite part of a McDonald’s run was cracking open a brand-new toy, and McDonald’s really delivered over the decades. Beanie Babies, Hot Wheels and My Little Pony figurines were just a few toys on their all-star roster.

Well, it’s already the 40th anniversary of that iconic McDonald’s Happy Meal! The golden arches are bringing back your childhood favorites. 17 classic Happy Meal toys are returning for the occasion, and we have to collect them all.

The Official Announcement from McD’s

As you can imagine, McDonald’s fans went wild for this announcement. Ronald and his crew first dropped the not-so-new news via Twitter on October 31. It’s a video featuring all of our favorite toys time-traveling to the future, and it’s more than enough to get the nostalgia flowing.

Happy Meal Toys Won’t Be Around for Long

The toys will be included in Happy Meals at participating locations in more than 90 countries. 101 Dalmatians and Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey toys will only be available in the United States, though, so you’ll be able to get your hands on those exclusives.

As with all good things, McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys will come to an end. We’re not sure about the rest of the world, but for the U.S., Happy Meal Toys are only here from November 7-11, or while supplies last.
