Dairy Queen’s Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard Is Here Just in Time for Christmas

DQ's prodigal Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard is sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

There’s no doubt that peppermint-chocolate is the flavor combo of the holiday season. Luckily we can enjoy it in everything from peppermint chocolate coffee all the way to homemade hot cocoa bombs loaded with crushed candy canes and mini marshmallows. Even ice cream fans can delight in the taste of the season thanks to Dairy Queen’s latest returning holiday treat.

Warm up and Cool Down

The prodigal Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard tastes just like a cup of minty hot cocoa. Inside you’ll find rich cocoa fudge, chocolate chunks and real candy cane pieces blended together with creamy DQ soft serve. This Blizzard is even topped with whipped cream (of course!) and little pieces of candy cane and chocolate chunks.

The Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard first debuted last year and was a follow-up to 2018’s hit Candy Cane Chill Blizzard. DQ fans everywhere loved it so much they demanded it back this year—and boy, are we glad they did!

Once again, Twitter took to the treat right away, posting blurbs and hallelujahs about their favorite Blizzard returning to stores. (We can’t blame them!)

Head to DQ ASAP

The Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard is currently available at participating DQ locations as the December Blizzard of the Month. Don’t wait if you’re interested in trying one of your favorite DQ holiday blizzards, because this guy won’t be around for long. This Blizzard is a seasonal treat made for the holidays and will only be available for a limited time. (And if you haven’t already, you should pick up a Frozen Hot Chocolate while you’re at it—your sweet tooth will thank you.)
