Truth be told, it sounds pretty unappealing to add mayonnaise and a raw egg to a bowl, so right off the bat I was skeptical. But the boiling water from the noodles is hot enough when it’s added to the bowl that it actually cooks the egg. Thank goodness!
The addition of the grated garlic gives this bowl of ramen unbelievable, fragrant flavor and it’s certainly a must-try for garlic lovers. The mayonnaise and egg combination results in an incredibly creamy sauce, rather than a watery soup base.
If I made this again, I would add other ingredients into the mix. Incorporating sauteed vegetables or mixing in tofu or chicken would make creamy ramen that much better. Now it’s time to find more TikTok recipes to test!
